Chris is a long-time speaker with Visions and Voices who is passionate about sharing his lived experience with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD). Through his presentations, he helps others gain a deeper understanding of the challenges and realities of living with FASD. Chris believes that increased awareness leads to greater empathy, understanding, and support for individuals with FASD, while helping to reduce judgment, stigma, and blame.

 

His favorite presentation topics include community supports, foster care, and family relationships. By sharing his personal journey, Chris encourages audiences to recognize the strengths, resilience, and potential of people living with FASD.

Chris has a diverse employment background, having worked in the aviation, caregiving, hospitality, manufacturing, and agricultural sectors. He is also deeply committed to giving back to his community and volunteers with Pine Falls Hospital and several other local organizations.

 

In his free time, Chris enjoys spending time with people, telling jokes, riding his bike, and going for walks. Known for his friendly personality and positive outlook, he is a well-respected and valued member of the Pine Falls community.

 

Chris brings authenticity, humor, and hope to every presentation, leaving audiences with a greater understanding of FASD and the importance of compassion and community support.
